Abstract: |
Task – based learning has been a hotly discussed issue in the scholarly world. In this article, after the introduction of historical background and its definition, the arguments and concerns are clearly presented. Task –based learning is proven to increase learners’ motivation, enhance learners’ spontaneous interaction and increase exposure to the target language. However, some concerns about it are arisen because it is thought to be not appropriate for low-level students and lack focus on forms.
